Dementia help kits launched in Lincolnshire

A woman from Louth in Lincolnshire has created 'help kits' to help those affected by the disease and their carers. Chris Suich was inspired by her husband, Bob, who was diagnosed nine years ago at the age of 59. The free packs are available online. They include notes to use around the home such as 'lock the door' and 'don't turn this off' for freezers and much more. The pack also contains forms to apply for blue parking badges, a council tax discount and a free cinema pass. Mrs Suich says she put everything in the packs that she found useful and which saved her time and energy. For more info visit Bobsbrainwaves.co.uk.
